September 2013 Two beautiful puppies out of Guiness CH Hemlock's Black & Tan x Jamie CH Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars were born. We have a red tri male and a blue merel female.
Australian Shepherd Versatility Weekend Donaueschingen: Friday Rally Obedience - Neyla - Rafter Creek's Daddys Girl got two time first place with full points of 100, Kanoa - CH Mill Creek's Night Flight, was beaten by his daughter by just one point and got 2nd, in the second run he also had 100 points and made first place together with his daughter. Lani - CH Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing - got a Very Good in the first run but in the second run she showed what she can and also got 100 points and third place. Chase - Rafter Creek's Valentine Day - had his first competition and in the first run everything was more interesting than competing, but in the second run he made is excellent and his qualification in the next higher class. Megan - CH Mill Creek's American Express also got two times Excellent and therefore also the qualification in the next class. Shadow also was competing, he achieved a Good and a Very Good, Juno his daughter also achieved her excellent. In Obedience Novice Irene with Holly - Rafter Creek's Cinder N Ash - started, she won the class with an excellent! On Saturday Agility: Neyla 2 place standard with one mistake, Megan a very good and 7/18, Leo - Rafter Creek's Blue Fire! a Dis, Annie - the Kanoa daughter a Dis, Holly - Rafter Creek's Cinder N Ash - a Dis, Energy another daughter from Kanoa a DIS, Lani a DIS - this result has room for development. Jumping: Megan Excellent 0 and 2. place - not bad for 9 years! Neyla got a good, and little Leo with Edi got an Excellent and 2nd place! Holly und Anny also had two nice runs but also DIS, Energy with an Excellent 4th place and Lani with Excellent 5th place. In the team competition we made with Megan, Anny and Neyla the 3rd place - we were very proud about that. On Sunday we had confirmation with judge Paula McDermid from the US. Kanoa's newest kids did well: Purple Arrow's Kensigton City Light was Best Baby, the female baby class won his sister out of the same litter.Kanoa won the Veteranclass and was later Best Veteran. Chase won the Intermediate Class, Shadow the Champion Class. For Best Male we had than Shadow and Chase in, but Best Male was Alan the Magic Boy of Punanga - a Blacky - CH Burning Bonfire - Grandson, wow! Chase achieved with his a 1 1/2 years Reserve Best Male, we were very happy about this result. In the Top 5 competition also Shadow and Kanoa won a price. A wonderful result for our males. The Bitches: Megan won the Veteran Class, Lani amd 3rd place in the Champion Class and Neyla won the Open Class, was Best Bitch and Best German Bred. Lani and Megan also achieved a price within the Top 5 Females. waren dann ebenfalls bei den Top 5 Hündinnen dabei. Best of Breed was - never expected - KANOA CH Mill Creek's Night Flight - our old man!

Agility Competition in Emmendingen: Gerli got a 2. place with Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing "Lani" with an Excellent in the highest Agility class! Internationale Hundeausstellung München: Rafter Creek's EZ Valentine Day "Chase" Vorzüglich 4 Platz in einer großen Jugendklasse, aber es war definitiv unser "Girls Day" - Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl "Neyla" 1. Platz Zwischenklasse mit Vorzüglich, CH Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars "Jamie" 1. Platz Championklasse mit Vorzüglich, Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing "Lani" 1. Platz Offene Klasse mit vorzüglich und die letzte Anwartschaft für ihren VDH Champion - wow Lani, wir sind so stolz! Lani started in der höchsten Agility und Obedience-Klasse rundum ein sportlicher und intelligenter Hund und nun gekrönt mit dem Championtitel. Man kann sich eigentlich nicht mehr erträumen. Alle Hündinnen im Wettbewerb um die Beste Hündin waren nun aus unserer Zuchtstätte und eigentlich war es dann egal wer das Rennen machen sollte: Jamie wurde Beste Hündin und ihre Tochter Neyla Reserve Beste Hündin. Mit Lani's Championtitel hat CH Mill Creek's American Express "Megan" nun 4 Champions in ihrer Nachzucht und alleine drei aus ihrem ersten Wurf. Am Montag gingen wir dann erst mal mit den Hunden auf ein Agility-Seminar mit Sascha Grunder - Kontrastprogramm und ein toller Tag! International Dog Show Munich: Rafter Creek's EZ Valentine Day "Chase" Excellent 4th place in a huge youth class, it was defenitely our"Girls Day" - Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl "Neyla" 1. place Intermediate Class with excellent, CH Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars "Jamie" 1. place Champion Class with Excellent, Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing "Lani" 1. Platz Offene Klasse with excellent and she also got her last qualification towards her VDH Champion - wow Lani, we are so proud! Lani is competing in the highest Agility and Obedience Class - overall a athletic and intelligent sporting dog and now on top the Champion title. We couldn't ask for more. All bitches in the competition Best Bitch came from our kennel and so it was not important who will do it in the end: Jamie went Best Bitch and Neyla her daughter Reserve Best Bitch. With Lani's Champion title CH Mill Creek's American Express "Megan" has now 4 finished Champions in her offspring and three from her first litter. The day after we went to an agility clinic with Sascha Grundner with our dogs - totally different programme and a lot of fun! Februar 2013 Dezember 2012 Leider erreichten uns aus Norwegen keine guten Nachrichten: Mynta die Tocher von Duke von Heidi Linnerud ist im Alter von 8 Jahren verstorben. Sie war ein Australian Shepherd, die ihre Rasse so wundervoll vertreten hat: sie war Norwegischer und Schwedischer Champion, Norwegischer und Schwedischer Obedience Champion, Norwegischer Wildtracking Champion und zwei CC in der Fährte. Sie war auch Fernsehstar in einer Sitcom in Norwegen "Sara and Selma" und Mynta spielte Selma. Eine außergewöhnliche Hündin und ein großer Verlust für Heidi. Unfortunatley no good news came from Norway: Mynta the daughter of Duke from Heidi Linnerud died at the age of 8 years. She was a truly Australian Shepherd and represented her breed exceptionally: she was a Norwegian and Swedish Confirmation Champion, Norwegian and Swedish Obedience Champion, Norwegian Wildtrack Champion and 2 x cc in tracking, She also participated in a tv show, a sit.com called “Sara and Selma”, where Mynta played “Selma”. Nationale Rassehundausstellung Karlsruhe: CH Burning Bonfire - Blacky startete mit 12 Jahren in der Veteranenklasse und sieht immer noch super aus. Er machte auch den Cut im Veteranenwettbewerb. Es gibt nichts schöneres als einen fitten Veteranen auszustellen. Rafter Creek's EZ Valentine Day Chase bekam ein VV2 in der Jüngstenklasse, CH Mill Creek's Night Flight Kanoa ein V1 in der Championklasse und er wurde Reserve Bester Rüde. Seine Tochter Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl Neyla wurde mit Vorzüglich 1 in der Zwischenklasse, BESTE HÜNDIN und BEST OF BREED - wow! CH Mill Creek's American Express wurde mit Vorzüglich 1 in der Championklasse und Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing Lani ein unplatziertes Vorzüglich. National Dogshow Karlsruhe: CH Burning Bonfire - Blacky entered with 12 years the veteran class, still looking great. He was Best Veteran and made the cut over all veterans in the honor ring. There is nothing better than showing a good quality veteran dog. Rafter Creek's EZ Valentine Day Chase got a very promising and 2nd place in the puppy class, CH Mill Creek's Night Flight Kanoa excellent 1st place in the Champion class and Reserve Best Male. His daughter Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl Neyla went with an excellent first in the intermediate classe, BEST BITCH and BEST OF BREED - wow! CH Mill Creek's American Express went 1st with an excellent in the Champion class and Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing Lani an unplaced excellent. Rafter Creek's Cinder N Ash Holly hat ihre letzte Qualification bekommen um nun in der höchsten Agility Klasse zu starten und darüber hinaus haben Holly und Irene ihr erstes Vorzüglich in der Obedience Beginner Klasse erreicht. Super gemacht Irene & Holly, ich bin sehr stolz auf Euch. An der gleichen Veranstaltung haben Juno und Kari - Shadow Töchter aus der Zucht von Katharina König die BH bestanden. Herzlichen Glückwunsch! We are very proud of Neyla - Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl - in her first start in the Intermediate class at the age of 15 months she won 2 days the Intermediate class with Excellent and has 3 qualifications towards her Championship - what a girl!

Im Combination Cup Performance (Agility & Obedience) belegte Lani den 3 Platz von allen Startern. Bei der Ausstellung mit Richterin Nannette Newbury belegte Rafter Creek's EZ Valentine Day - Chase - den ersten Platz und wurde Best Puppy. Rafter Creek's Daddy's Girl - Neyla - gewann die Jugendklasse Hündinnen mit 13 Startern, obwohl sie ihre Haare in Frankreich im Urlaub gelassen hatte. Damit hat sie in 4 Starts die 3 Qualifikationen für den VDH Jugendchampion gewonnen. CH Mill Creek's American Express - Megan - wurde Bester Veteran und unser "old man" Kanoa - CH Mill Creek's Night Flight - wurde im Alter von 8 Jahren wieder einmal Bester Rüde. Jamie - CH Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars - bekam ein V3 in der Championklasse und Lani - Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing - ein unplatziertes V. Megans Tochter Holly - Rafter Creek's Cinder N Ash - von Irene Fixl wurde V2 in einer großen offenen Klasse und Megan's Sohn Kiss - Rafter Creek's Chism Kiss - von Romy Kummer wurde ebenfalls V2 in einer offenen Klasse mit 23 Rüden und Top 5 Rüde. Weitere Megan Kinder haben ebenfalls ein Vorzüglich erhalten: Carlo - Rafter Creek's Clear Water - von Ute Haag und Javeline - Rafter Creek's Crazy Quilt - von Bea Hellstern. Wir konnten stolz sein auf unsere Hunde und die Nachzucht unserer Hunde. Gerli und ich wollten noch einige Vielseitigkeitspunkte sammeln und da wir gerne nach Dortmund gehen, wollten wir auf der Bundessiegerprüfung noch ein paar Vielseitigkeitspunkte für den Bereich Confirmation sammeln. Auf der Nationalen Zuchtschau wurde Kanoa mit 7 Jahren Reserve Bester Rüde, Megan wurde 2 in der Championklasse und Lani wurde 3 in der offenen Klasse - also haben wir für alle Hunde an diesem Tag das Punktekonto füllen können. An der Bundessiegerzuchtschau wurde Kanoa Reserve-Bester Rüde und meine Megan Reserve-Beste Hündin, Lani wurde zweite in der offenen Klasse und hat damit eine weitere Anwartschaft zum VDH Champion. Also wieder ein erfolgreicher Tag und unser Punktekonto haben wir maximal aufgefüllt. Gerli and I wanted to add some Versatility Points on our account and therefore we decided to go to the National Winner Show to Dortmund. On the National Show Kanoa went Best Male, Megan went second in the Champion class and Lani went 3rd in the open class. So a great day to add somd points. On the National Winner show Kanoa went Reserve-Best Male and Megan Reserve-Best Bitch, Lani went second in the open class and got again an award towards her German Championship. So another successful day to add some points to our versatility award 2011. Anfang Oktober erreichten uns gute Nachrichten von Ute: Rafter Creek's Clear Water "Carlo" hat seine Rettungshundeprüfung mit Bravour bestanden und das gerade mal mit 2 1/2 Jahren. September 2011 Das Versatility Weekend in Löffingen war ein voller Erfolg für unsere Zuchtstättte: unter der Richterin Sharon Sparks wurde Kanoa Reserve Bester Rüde und Top 5. Rafter Creek's Blue Chip "Shadow" gewann die große offene Klasse und hat nun seinen VDH Championtitel, er war ebenfalls Top 5 und Rafter Creek's Clear Water "Carlo" wurde zweiter in der offenen Klasse und wurde ebenfalls Top 5. So waren von den Top 5 Rüden 3 Hunde aus unserer Zuchtstätte. Bei den Hündinnen gewann Megan die Championklasse und wurde Top 5 Hündin. Ihre Töchter Rafter Creek's Cosmic Dust "Flo" wurde zweite in der offenen Klasse und Reserve-Beste Hündin sowie Top 5 Hündin, Rafter Creek's Cinder N Ash "Holly" wurde dritte in der offenen Klasse und ebenfalls Top 5 Hündin und Rafter Creek's Crazy Quilt "Javeline" wurde vierte in der offenen Klasse und ebenfalls Top 5 Hündin - so waren in den Top 5 4 Hündinnen aus unsere Zuchtstätte. Darüber hinaus wurde Rafter Creek's Chism Kiss mit einem vorzüglich bewertet. CH Rafter Creek's A Trio To Italy "Max" wurde Bester Veteran. Kanoa's Tochter Purple Arrow's Good News "Gi" wurde wiederum 2 in der Jugendklasse. Jamie hatte ihren ersten Start in Agility A1. Im A-Lauf hatte sie ein vorzüglich mit einem Fehler aber etwas Zeit verloren, weil sie Elmar, der Ringhelfer war, Guten Tag sagen mußte. Im Jumping war sie dann voll da und erreichte ein V3 mit keinem Fehler. Leo war im ersten Lauf mit Eddy auch noch nicht wirklich da, aber dafür im Jumping, auch hier legte Eddie einen tollen Lauf hin und erreichte den 3. Platz. Kanoa wurde dritter in A2. Unsere Rafter Creek Mannschaft bestehend aus Jamie, Leo und Max erreichte bei 12 Mannschaften einen hervorragenden 4. Platz. Jamie had her first start in Agility A1. In the A-run she had an excellent with one mistake and she lost some time as she has to say "hello" to Elmar who was sitting in the ring. In the Jumping she was back again and had a beautiful run with no mistake and she achieved the third place. Leo was not there in the first run - he was a little unconcentrated but in the second run he had a great run with Eddy and achieved the third place. Kanoa went 3rd in A2. Juni 2011 Clubsiegerschau Hanau: beim Agi liefen Megan und ich leider im A-Lauf ins DIS - im Jumping war es ein Fehler zu viel und wir sind ins SG abgerutscht aber so noch in die Wertung gekommen - mit dem ersten Lauf war ich trotz dem DIS sehr zufrieden. Gerli lief mit Kanoa auf den 3. Platz im A2, im Jumping auf den 6. Platz, Lani erreichte im A-Lauf A3 den 8. Platz und im Jumping den 5 Platz. An der Ausstellung wurde Kanoa Reserve-Bester Rüde und Top 5 Male, Megan wurde Top 5 Bitch. Club Winner Show Hanau: unfortunately Megan and I received in standard a disqulification, Jumping was better and we were in the placments, beside the result I was happy with my runs - Megan did a good job. Gerli got with Kanoa 3rd place in A2 and Jumping 6 place, Lani achieved 8 place and in Jumping 5. place. Mai 2010 CACIB Saarbrücken: Am Pfingstmontag war Megan's Tag - Beste Hündin - Best of Breed - Jamie bekam ein V2 und die Reserve-Anwartschaft. Gerli war im Obedience erfolgreich, nachdem Kanoa etwas beindruckt war und leider an der DM nicht bestanden hat, hat er in zwei darauffolgenden Prüfungen trotz einem 0-Ergebnis ein SG erreicht. Lani war wie gewohnt sehr zuverlässig und hat in beiden Obedience 2 Prüfungen ein Vorzüglich mit erstem Platz erreicht. Weiter so Gerli. CACIB Saarbrücken: On Monday it was Megan's day: Best Bitch - Best of Breed - Jamie got an Excellent 2nd place. Gerli was succesful in Obedience, after Kanoa hat not a good run at the German Championship he had two very good results even with a 0 in one exercise. Lani was very constantly and got two excellent in Obedience 2 with first places.
März 2010 CACIB München: Wir fuhren am Vortag nach München zu Gerlis Mama und feierten Gerlis Geburtstag. Am Tag danach waren wir aufgrund des wieder zurückgekehrten Winters fast die ersten auf der Ausstellung weil wir ja schon in München waren. Wie immer trafen wir nette Aussie-Leute, was neben dem eigentlichen Ausstellen immer sehr schön ist. Unsere Ergebnisse: Jamie V3 in der Zwischenklasse, Lani ein unplatziertes SG in der Offenen Klasse und Kanoa wurde Bester Rüde. Auf der Heimfahrt hat uns dann doch der Winter eingeholt und nach einer langen Fahrt waren wir froh wieder zu Hause zu sein. Gleich 14 Tage später ging es auf die CACIB Offenburg. Blacky (Burning Bonfire) wurde Bester Veteran und wurde 2. im Veteranenwettbewerb über alle Rassen. Dann startete Sugar Rafter Creek's Cotton Candy in der Jüngstenklasse und wurde mit einem vielversprechend 2 von 7 Hündinnen, nur geschlagen von ihrer Schwester Javeline Rafter Creek's Crazy Quilt von Bea & Yves. Der Bruder hat es ihnen aber auch vorgemacht Kiss Rafter Creek's Chism Kiss von Romy wurde ebenfalls 1. in der Jüngstenklasse. Shadow Rafter Creek's Blue Chip wurde mit einem Vorzüglich 2. in der Offenen Klasse. Lani wurde mit einem Vorzüglich 3 in der offenen Klasse. Kanoa und Megan gewannen jeweils die Championklasse, Max wurde zweiter in der Championklasse ebenfalls mit einem Vorzüglich und hat damit seinen VDH Champion! Bester Rüde und BOB wurde dann Kanoa und Beste Hündin Megan. Was für ein Einstand für meine Maus nach der Welpenpause. CACIB Munich: we were driving the day before to Munich to visit Gerlis mum and to celebrate Gerlis birthday. Day after winter was coming back and we were happy to be already in Munich, because we nearly were the first exhibitors in the morning. We alos met nice Aussie people what is always nice beside showing the dogs. Our results: Jamie V3 in the intermediate class, Lani a very good in the open class and Kanoa went Best Male. On the way beck the winter catched us and after a long drive we were happy to be at home again. 14 days later we went to the CACIB show in Offenburg. Blacky (Burning Bonfire) went Best Veteran and went 2. in the Veteran competition over all breeds. Than Sugar Rafter Creek's Cotton Candy was starting the first time in the puppy class, she went 2. out of 7 just beaten by her sister Javeline Rafter Creek's Crazy Quilt owned by Bea & Yves. Their brother has showed them how it's working: Kiss Rafter Creek's Chism Kiss owend by Romy went 1. in the male puppy class. Shadow Rafter Creek's Blue Chip went 2 with an Excellent in the Open Class. Lani went 3 with an Excellent in the Open Class. Kanoa and Megan won the Championclass, Max went second in the Championclass and finished his German Championship with an excellent. Best Male and BOB was Kanoa and Best Bitch Megan. What a win for my sweetheart after her puppy break.
Februar 2010 CACIB Fribourg: An beiden Tagen wurden Jamie als auch Max mit Vorzüglich bewertet, obwohl sich Jamie entschieden hatte ohne Haare zu starten und Max hatte Probleme mit dem kleinen Ring. So war es am Samstag Shadow's Tag (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip): er gewann die offene Klasse mit einem Vorzüglich und wurde Reserve Bester Rüde - am Tag danach bekam er ebenfalls ein Vorzüglich und den dritten Platz. Jetzt fehlt noch eine Anwartschaft für den Schweizer Champion. CACIB Fribourg: Both days Jamie and Max got an excellent even if Jamie decided to go naked and Max had problems with the small ring. So the first days was Shadow's day (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip): he won the open class with an excellent and went Reserve Best Male - the day after he also got an excellent and a third place. Now he is just missing on award towards the Swiss Championship. November 2009 Kurz vor unserem Urlaub in der Normandie ging es noch auf die Ausstellung in Friedrichshafen. Gerli mußte alle meine Hunde ausstellen, da ich Sonderleiter war und nicht ausstellen durfte. Am Freitag nachmittag haben wir noch geübt und die Hunde für die Ausstellung gerichtet. Um es vorwegzuschicken Gerli hat es hervorragend gemacht und hier und unsere Platzierungen: Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) V2 in der Championklasse unter Dr. Peper und am Sonntag unter Penny Richards, Accra Australian Shepherd wurde er 1. in der Championklasse und Reserve Bester Rüde. Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) erhielt ein V2 in der Offenen Klasse unter Dr. Peper und ein V3 in der Offenen Klasse bei Penny Richards, Jamie erhielt bei Dr. Peper ein V3 in der Zwischenklassse und ein V1 bei Penny Richards sowie Reserve Beste Hündin. Damit haben wir bei Lani eine gute Grundlage für den Award of Merit Versatility gelegt, es gibt nur wenige Hunde die so gute Ergebnisse im Sport vorweisen können und mit dem Formwert Vorzüglich bewertet werden. Short before our vacation in the Normandie (France) we went to a show in Friedrichshafen. Gerli needs to handle all my dogs as I was not allowed as I;m belong to the organisational team of the show. On Friday afternoon we spend time to train Gerli handling and to prepare our dogs. To let you know before: Gerli did a great job and here our placements: Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) Ex2 in the Champion class under Dr. Peper and on Sunday under Penny Richards, Accra Australian Shepherd he went 1. in the Champion class and Reserve Best Male. Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) got a Exc2 in the Open class under Dr. Peper and a Exc 3 in the Open class from Penny Richards, Jamie got from Dr. Peper an Exc 3 in the Intermediate Class and a Exc. 1 from Penny Richards and on top she went Reserve Best Bitch. With that we have a great possibility for Lani in the Award of Merit Versatility programme because there are not many dogs that have excellent results in sport and in the show.
Oktober 2009 Eigentlich wollte ich nicht zur Bundessiegerzuchtschau nach Dortmund fahren, ich dachte meine kleine Jamie (Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars) wäre einfach noch nicht so weit. Denkste. Die Überraschung in positivem Sinne war groß unsere Kleine machte in der Zwischenklasse den 2. Platz mit V und weil es die Bundessiegerzuchtschau war, wird dies zu einer vollen Anwartschaft aufgewertet. Am nächsten Tag wurde sie sogar 1. mit V in der Zwischenklasse und Reserve-Beste Hündin. Mit zwei Anwartschaften im Gepäck hat sich das echt gelohnt. Auch Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy) wurde am Samstag 1. in der Championklasse und am Sonntag 2. in der Championklasse und Reserve-Bester Rüde. Max fehlt jetzt noch eine Anwartschaft und dann hat er auch seinen VDH Champion in der Tasche. Gerli hat mit Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) und Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) mal schnell den Agility Beginner Titel geholt - Glückwunsch Gerli! Normaly I didn't wanted to go to Dortmund to the National Winner Show, I thought Jamie (Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars) has not matured as I expected. So we had a surprise in a positive way, she made a second place with an "Excellent" in the Intermediate Class and as it was the National Winner show this is a full award towards the German Championship. The next day she went 1 with an "Excellent" in the Intermediate Class and went Reserve-Best Bitch. With two awards towards her VDH Championschip we left Dortmund very happy. Also Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy) went 1. in The Championclass and on Sunday 2 in the Championclass and Reserve Best Male. So one award is missing to close the VDH Champion, too. Gerli has finished with Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) and Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) the Agility Novice title - CONGRATULATION Gerli! August/September 2009 BABYPAUSE! Ja, jetzt heißt es zuhause bleiben und Welpen großziehen - eine Aufgabe, die die ganze Familie in Beschlag nimmt. Wir haben für alle Welpen tolle Familien gefunden. Juli/July 2009 Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing BH o1) hat auch an ihrem vierten Obedience I Turnier ein Vorzüglich erzielt - was für ein Lauf! We have 5 bitches (3 blue merle/2 black tri) and 4 males (3 black tri/1 blue merle). Megan was the happiest dog when she could catch balls today again. Spezialzuchtschau in Donaueschingen mit Gail Karamalegos: mit 76 gemeldeten Hunden war Donaueschingen eine sehr große Zuchtschau. Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH 01 02) wurde Reserve Bester Rüden, Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy CHR BH AA1) wurde zweiter der Top 5 und Shadow (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip CHR) erhielt ebenfalls ein Vorzüglich. Die Hündinnen erhielten alle ein Sehr Gut waren allerdings auch jeweils die Jüngsten in der Klasse. Specialty Show in Donaueschingen with Gail Karamalegos: with 76 entries Donaueschingen was a big specialty. Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH 01 02) went Reserve Best Male, Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy CHR BH AA1) went second of the Top 5 Male and Shadow (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip CHR) got also an excellent. The bitches all got a very good, which was fine, because they were the youngest in their classes. Kanoa hat Georgi gedeckt - im Zwinger "of Shawnee's Home" wird es hoffentlich bald Nachzucht von ihm geben. Kanoa was bred to Georgi at the kennel "of Shawnee's Home".

Kanoa's son Aghy from Lovely Workaholics had a great weekend at the Club Winner Show in Austria too: out of the intermediate class he went Best Male, best Austrian Bred Aussie and Best of Breed - so he is stepping into his father footsteps. April/April 2009 Megan (CH Mill Creek's American Express) ist Most Versatile Australian Shepherd Bitch 2008 im CASD. Ich bin sehr stolz, dass wir das dieses Jahr geschafft haben! Sie wurde auch beste Confirmation Hündin und hat den zweiten Platz bei Obedience Beginner erreicht. Ich bin so stolz auf mein tolles Mädchen, sie ist einfach nur ein Traum. Unsere Hope (CH Caitland's Spirit of Hamlet) hat in ihrer letzten Saison sogar noch den dritten Platz im Versatility AOM erreicht. Das ist ein schöner Abschluss für eine bemerkenswerte Karriere. Blacky (CH Burning Bonfire) wurde zweiter in Obedience 1. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Kurt, sowas ist immer Teamarbeit. Anfang März habe ich dann erste Agility-Turnier mit Megan besucht. Mit 4,5 Sek/m war sie einfach zu schnell für mich und der Preis waren dann zwei Kontaktzonenfehler. Aber Megan hat es tierisch Spaß gemacht und ich habe mich geärgert weil ich meinem guten Hund nicht gerecht werden konnte. Weiter üben. Beside that she also got AOM Confirmation Bitch and also achieved the 2nd place Obedience Novice. I'm very proud on my beautiful and outstanding girl, she is just a dream of an Aussie. Our Hope (CH Caitland's Spirit of Hamlet) has achieved 3rd place in the AOM Versatility programme in her last competition season. This is a marvellous and the end of an outstanding carreer. Blacky (CH Burning Bonfire) went 2nd in Obedience 1 (comp. to CDX) - congratulation to Kurt, such achievements are always teamwork. At the beginning of March we went to the first Agility Competition this year with Megan. She went 4,5 sec. per meter and just was too fast for me, so we got two mistakes. But Megan loved it and I was angry about myself, that I was not able to work on the same level as my dog.
Februar/February 2009 Fribourg war unsere erste Ausstellung in diesem Jahr. Shadow "Rafter Creek Blue Chip CHR" hat am Samstag ein V3 gemacht und seine Mama Megan "CH Mill Creek's American Express CHR BH OB" wurde Beste Hündin. Am Samstag wurde dann Shadow mit einem VI Reserve Bester Rüde und Megan hat ein V1 in der Championklasse erreicht. Damit hat Shadow seine erste Anwartschaft in der Schweiz und Megan ein weiteres CACIB.
Januar/January 2009 Die erste gute Nachricht dieses Jahres ist, dass wir für Shadow ein tolles neues Zuhause gefunden haben. Shadow lebt nun bei Familie Kienzle in Donaueschingen und hat sich super eingelebt. Es funktioniert ohne Probleme und auch mit dem 1-jährigen Enkelkind ist Shadow - obwohl er sonst sehr überschwänglich ist - überaus vorsichtig und lieb. Shadow trainiert mit Elmar in meiner Junghundeklasse und bedingt curch die Nähe in der Shadow nun lebt kann er auch der Zucht erhalten bleiben. Ansonsten haben wir es im Januar eher gemütlich angehen lassen, dafür habe ich aber mit Megan und Jamie einen Longierkurs besucht. Ein sehr interessantes Thema für jeden Ausbilder und Hundesportler. Meinen Hündinnen hat der Tag auf jeden Fall super Spaß gemacht. The first good news in this year was that we found a new place for Shadow. Shadow is now living with Family Kienzle in Donaueschingen. In the meantime he belongs to his now family and it's working quite good for all parties involved. Also with the 1-year old granddaughter he is doing fine. Shadow is working with Elmar in Obedience and due that he now lives so close to me he is available as stud dog. We were very lazy in January and just did two sporting clinics with Jamie and Megan. The dogs loved it!
